The recommended alternative for lice control is wet hair combing with a specially designed comb that effectively removes lice nits (eggs). This mechanical control is completely non-toxic and highly effective. The National Pediculosis (Headlice) Association (NPA) has developed the "licemeister" comb and has videos available providing instruction for effective mechanical removal. Below you will find links to this and other resources for safe and effective lice and scabies control.
